Sample Reports

What does a course measurement report look like in four different fields? Each example shows the outcome's Bloom level, attainment status and the improvement decision taken for the outcome below target.

The courses and figures on this page are sample data; they do not belong to a real institution or person.

Improvement decision: The complexity comparison had been measured with a single exam item. Next term two short assignments will be added and marked with a rubric.

Attainment is the share of students who pass the attainment threshold in the outcome; the threshold and target are institutional decisions. A full programme-level report example: Sample programme report (PDF).

Questions about the sample reports

Are the figures in these reports real?

No. All courses and figures on the page are sample data, prepared to show the sections of the report the software produces. They contain no real institution, course or personal data.

Does the report include the instructor's name?

No. The measurement report is at course and outcome level; an instructor's name is never reported together with results, and students are not shown raw scores.

In which formats can the report be downloaded?

The course measurement report is downloaded as Word and PDF; the programme report and accreditation file are downloaded as Word documents in a single ZIP.

What does “Support recommended” mean?

It shows that most students stayed below the threshold in that outcome. The report keeps the likely cause and the improvement decision for this outcome on the same page; the effect is compared in the next run.
